Stop Miscarriages Of Justice - Free The Innocent!

A very successful march and Protest was held on Thursday June 9th

36 years have passed since the trial of the Birmingham 6. Nothing has changed. The innocent continue to be convicted!

Here in the West Midlands despite the disbanding of the disgraced Serious Crime Squad the West Midlands Police continue the practice of framing innocent people in order to fool the public into thinking that they are solving many serious crimes.

Mohammed Arif, Emma Bates, Michael Christie Gary Crichly, Lee Mockble, Ricardo Morrison, Jaslyn Smith, Jasbir Takhar

For those, named above, who are wrongly convicted it means a life of torture for them, their families and friends. Wrongly imprisoned, often they remain in prison longer than the original sentence because of their refusal to admit guilt to something they did not do.

Meanwhile the guilty, often of horrendous crimes, are let off to reoffend, without fear of ever being bought to justice. The costs to the tax payer is enormous often running over a million pounds per person on top of the fact that we are paying for the police to carry out these criminal miscarriages of justice.
This d emonstration was called by West Midlands Against Injustice which is a coming together of families and friends of people from the West Midlands who are suffering a miscarriage of justice.

WMAI is uniting the many cases that exist today to help overturn those convictions and by highlighting their existence bring pressure to stop the miscarriages of the future.
